Bored

On any normal Sunday, about this time, I’d be either thinking about (1) heading to bed, or (2) popping in another movie to watch. But I’m doing a favor for a friend, and I’m at work instead. And boy is it boring. I’ve read through two separate Fark flamewars, I’ve read the lyrics for Alice’s Restaurant, and I finished off that “Alice in Math Land” thesis too.

By the way, it’s pretty interesting reading, since it’s a fairly intense math thesis, written with an apparent target audience of children. I think more kids should learn combinatory mathematics before they’re out of grammar school.

I’m thinking, right now, that I’ve encountered all there is to find on the internet. I may have to go to Barnes & Noble today and buy something big and heavy to read at work. Suggestions are accepted; either hit the “comments” button below this post, or send me an email (if you know my address). Just try not to suggest something like Finnegan’s Wake, by James Joyce. I’m about 3 chapters into it, and I’m not sure I’ve understood more than 2 or 3 sentences.
